Clear it and try again. ## Letter E crafts for 3 year olds Two of these a young three can do almost alone: [Coffee filter earth](https://kindergarten-prep.com/blog/letter-e-crafts-for-preschoolers#c077), [Potato stamped Easter eggs](https://kindergarten-prep.com/blog/letter-e-crafts-for-preschoolers#c078). No exact cutting, no small pieces, and the glue stick does the rest. For the others, you cut and they glue. ## Earth, elephants and eggs: setting up letter E crafts The coffee filter earth is a tray, washable markers in blue and green, and a spray bottle on mist. A three does the whole thing alone. Let it dry on the tray, or it stains the table. For the letter E elephant, cut a gray E and a big round ear ahead of time. The child glues the ear on the top arm and curls a strip of paper for the trunk. Say e, e, elephant, the short sound, as the trunk goes on. Tape resist Easter eggs need the tape pressed down hard before painting, or the paint bleeds under. Press each strip with a fingernail, then let the child paint right over it. Peeling the tape off once the paint is dry is the part they wait for. The handprint Earth paper plate and coffee filter earth go in the window for Earth Day. The toilet paper roll elephant stands on a shelf, and the eggs become a garland on a string.
