Kindy vs Lingokids

Play on a screen versus play with you

Both products believe children learn through play. Lingokids puts the play on the tablet; Kindy puts it on the kitchen floor with you. A December 2025 review of Lingokids noted that some activities present spoken words without written ones and that the sheer number of choices can overwhelm younger children. Kindy removes the choosing: one activity, chosen for your child, today.

Lingokids describes its content as matched to a child's developmental stage. Kindy places by a readiness assessment of what the child can already do and re-evaluates from every activity. Those are different things: stage is about age, placement is about the child.

Where Lingokids is the better choice

Where Kindy is the better choice

A plan, not a library. Kindy tells you what to do today and why, starting from your child's readiness check rather than their age. Progress reflects what your child can actually do, rated by you after each activity.
