How to make it
- You cut 2 round eye holes in the upper half of the plate.
- Your child paints the plate pink. Let it dry.
- Cut 2 pink triangle ears and glue them to the top rim, one on each side.
- Cut a darker pink oval and glue it below the eye holes as the snout. Draw 2 nostril dots on it.

How to make it

Farm animal crafts with a 3 year old
Yellow and white paint are the two colors for most of this list. The fork painted chick needs one squirt of yellow on a plate and a fork, so start there if the child is three.
A three year old can glue cotton balls, stamp with a fork, print spots with a fingertip and press on googly eyes. Cutting the mask eye holes, the hatching chick egg and the tube animal heads is your part.
Sing as you make them. Five little ducks goes with the pom pom ducks on a pond; count them off and take one away each verse. The sheep and the cow are the moo and baa practice for a young three.
The tube animals and the pom pom ducks stand up and join the farm toys. The mask gets worn for the rest of the afternoon, so tie it on with elastic rather than a paper band.
